UltraShape’s unique technology delivers focused ultrasound energy which targets and disrupts fat cell membranes in the fat layer only, while surrounding structures such as blood vessels and nerves remain unaffected. The disrupted fat is then transported to the liver and safely cleared by the body through the natural metabolic process. The procedure begins with the physician marking the treatment area. The patient lies on the treatment bed and the treatment zone is detected by a tracking system.
